Nissan Maxima Transmission Fluid

Nissan Maxima is the flagship of the manufacturer’s passenger line and a real long-liver by the standards of cars. The first original generation was born back in 1981 and continues to be produced to the present. The most recent, eighth-generation, debuted in 2015, and its first restyling was presented at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. The novelty does not have significant technical changes, it received improved interior trim materials, an expanded list of options, a new set of security systems and a retouched appearance.

Under the hood of the Nissan Maxima, there will be one single uncontested power unit. This is a classic, for this model, V-shaped atmospheric gasoline atmospheric six of 3.5 liters. The variable valve timing system helped the manufacturer squeeze out 300 horsepower at 6400 crankshaft rpm and 354 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm.

Only the Xtronic is offered as a transmission, which has received more “driver” settings. Front-wheel drive only. Such a tandem consumes about 7.8 liters of gasoline for every hundred kilometers in the combined cycle.

The Nissan Maxima’s main innovation was the Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety system. It includes many devices that control such aspects of movement as distance to the vehicle in front, lane, high and low beam modes of head optics, and the rear environment.

The electronic control unit is capable of emergency braking, preventing lane departure, and warning of obstacles in the “blind zones”. Among other features, it is worth noting the pedestrian detection system.

The car has received a more swift and modern front end. The new headlights are striking. They retained their quirky shape with L-shaped sections of daytime running lights but received a different filling. Instead of round focusing lenses, many LED elements can be seen. The radiator grille and front bumper have received their fair share of changes. The signature V-shaped chrome trim extends further downward, while the fog lamp niches are triangular with black accents.
