The 2015 version of the Lincoln Navigator was first shown to the public in February 2014 at the Chicago Auto Show. Its mass production was launched in Lawlesville (Kentucky) in the summer of the same year.
Lincoln Navigator, as before, is offered in two lengths: standard 5268 mm (base 3023 mm) and elongated 5646 mm (3327 mm), but is equipped with a new engine: V-shaped, six-cylinder EcoBoost displacement of 3.5 liters. with twin-turbocharging and direct fuel injection into the cylinders, developed based on the 2007 Twin Forse unit. The new power unit has a capacity of 375 hp. and 583 Nm of torque.
Its derated versions are installed on six Ford models. But it demonstrates the highest power and torque indicators precisely on the Lincoln Navigator, allowing the SUV to show outstanding performance in towing a trailer, the maximum weight of which can be 4,082 kg (9,000 lb).

The Lincoln Navigator is powered by a six-speed automatic transmission with a separate manual mode.
The drive can be either rear or full, with the Control Trac Four-Wheel-Drive system, distributing the engine torque between the Lincoln Navigator axles.
As for the equipment of the Lincoln Navigator, these are hill start assist systems, automatic leveling of ground clearance when loading the trunk, tracking “blind” zones, a rearview camera, a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen on the center console and much more.
