The Chevrolet Traverse is a mid-size seven- or eight-seat crossover that was first introduced in 2017. In 2020, it underwent a restyling, but in April, the company announced the postponement of its market launch to 2021. Accordingly, it received the 2022 model year index in the North American market.
Compared to the pre-styled version, the new Traverse has a completely redesigned front end. The shape of the grille and bumper has changed. The fog lights have received a C-shaped chrome bezel, and the headlights are now more rectangular and tapered.
Side and rear, the body’s shape, have not changed much, LED elements have been added to the taillights. There were also only cosmetic changes in the salon. In addition to new trims for the seats, center dashboard, and door cards, the instrument panel has been redesigned. The centerpiece is an optional 8-inch display.
It replaced the small onboard computer screen of the pre-styling model. Instead, on the right, where it was previously located, there are now indicators for the coolant temperature and fuel reserve. The updated Traverse can wirelessly connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The standard for the Chevrolet Traverse is a 3.6-liter V-6 gasoline engine with a capacity of 318 horsepower. Its maximum torque is 360 Nm. This engine offers only one gearbox option – a 9-speed automatic. The engine, combined with an efficient transmission, makes the fairly heavy SUV very dynamic.

Chevrolet claims the Traverse is the perfect crossover for the entire family. We can agree with this, given the great opportunities for changing the cabin’s configuration, roomy luggage compartment, and fuel efficiency.
