Remember the Chevy Trailblazer? It was a midsize SUV popular in your family’s circle of relatives back in the day. The Trailblazer name has been resurrected for the 2021 model year as a subcompact crossover, and it serves as a gap filler between the Trax and Equinox in the US. Chevrolet felt it was necessary to create a vehicle to fill the space between its current Trax and Equinox models, so why not revive an old name to capitalize on nostalgia?
The Trailblazer competes head-to-head with the Buick Encore GX, as well as Hyundai’s HR-V, Kia Seltos, and Mazda CX-30.
