Daimler AG and the Renault-Nissan alliance began working together in 2010. A partnership was sealed by an exchange of shares: both groups announced equal participation in the equity of each other, which brought the alliance Renault-Nissan 3.1% of the capital of Daimler, and Daimler – the same 3.1% of the capital of Renault and the same amount of capital from Nissan.
A kind of quintessence of joint activities was the car Infiniti Q30. This compact hatchback uses components of the Daimler car platform, but it was designed and developed by the Infiniti team from scratch in accordance with the needs of its customers.
The Infiniti QX30 features the Mercedes-Benz M274 DE20 AL I4 engine – exactly the same as in the Q50 sedan. It is an in-line four-cylinder gasoline engine with a turbocharger and direct fuel injection. Declared dynamic characteristics are similar – 7.3 seconds to a hundred, but the maximum speed is limited to a mark of 230 km/h.

The oil and oil filter change intervals for your engine are based on the use of the specified quality oils and filters. Using engine oil and filters that are not of the specified quality or exceeding recommended oil and filter change intervals could reduce engine life. Damage to engines caused by improper maintenance or use of incorrect oil and filter quality and/or viscosity is not covered by the new INFINITI New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
Your engine was filled with high-quality engine oil when it was built. You do not have to change the oil before the first recommended change interval. Oil and filter change intervals depend upon how you use your vehicle.
