Infiniti Q50 Transmission Flush
If your car’s transmission is blocked, you’ll need to clean out the fluid. If the fluid is really black or contains other particles, we recommend doing a complete system flush rather than simply changing it.
Infiniti Q50 Transmission Fluid
A transmission fluid change is often half the cost of a transmission flush since it only requires a fraction of the fluid and time. Transmission fluid changes are crucial for keeping your Infiniti Q50’s transmission cool and lubricated. If you don’t change your fluids at least every 30,000 miles or so, your Infiniti Q50’s transmission will soon slip away.
Should I Get A Transmission Fluid Change Or A Flush?
Because the pan and filter are not disconnected during the flushing procedure, the diagnostic and preventative benefits of viewing what’s in the pan and changing the filter are lost. Furthermore, many vehicle manufacturers do not recommend or demand that a transmission flush be performed as part of their vehicles’ suggested maintenance regimen. Follow your car’s recommendation for replacing the transmission fluid.
However, a flush is necessary if your maintenance plan specifies one, or if your transmission fluid has accumulated metal particles or other things that need to be removed.
