A transmission fluid change is typically half the price of a transmission flush because it only necessitates a few less fluid and time. 2022 BMW X2 transmission fluid changes are very important to maintain your car’s gearbox in good working order. If you don’t replace your fluids at least every 30,000 miles or so, your 2019 BMW X2 transmission may start to fail.

The X2 is powered by an updated turbocharged variant of the same inline-four engine that powers the X1, producing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The gear changes are handled by an eight-speed automated transmission. Like the X1, the X2 comes standard with front- and all-wheel-drive versions, but a $2,000 additional charge is required for all-wheel drive on BMW’s order form.
Despite its middle-of-the-road positioning and a small back seat, the X2 experienced excellent sales in 2018 and 2019 before falling to less than 7,400 units sold in 2020.
