The last model in the Audi RS5 family, which was introduced a year ago, will be replaced by an improved version at the end of this year. They will now be available with an advanced adaptive matrix filling that shuts off the beam of light so as not to dazzle drivers in the oncoming lane. They also get a more stylish L-shaped dotted LED daytime running lighting section. The brake lights have been updated as well. The front bumper has been completely remodeled, with new designs for both sides. The radiator grille has grown significantly larger, no longer includes the chrome edging, and is inspired by an elongated hexagonal plastic honeycomb design.
A tiny ventilation hole is located beneath the hood’s edge. It has become a trademark of the RS models and is a reference to the vehicle manufacturer’s legendary rally history, or more precisely, to rally cars from the 1980s. The interior also has several improvements. The virtual instrument cluster has been updated with an RS style for displaying instrument readings. A new 10.1-inch touchscreen for the MMI multimedia system replaces the old 8-inch display in the dashboard center.
A washer on the center console controlled the previous version. It is no longer necessary, and its place has been taken by a tiny compartment for change. The technical filling, in general, remained unaltered.
