Porsche Panamera Engine Oil Capacity

The design of the Panamera, developed by Michael Mauer back in 2009, has not become obsolete over the years. Not much.

According to the journalists who tested the Porsche Panamera Turbo, it is inconvenient to move around the city on a liftback – a sharp steering wheel, hard seats, small mirrors, an uninformative rear-view camera, and huge alloy wheels that can easily be damaged on the curb when parking parallel. And the dimensions of the Porsche Panamera Turbo are impressive: length 5015 mm, width – 1931, height – 1418 mm. Center distance – 2920 mm.

How Much Oil Does a Porsche Panamera Take?

The 2021 Porsche Panamera with the 4.0L 8-cyl engine (engine code CVDA Turbo) takes 10 quarts (with filter) of 0W-40 synthetic oil. The Porsche Panamera with a 3.0L 6-cyl engine (engine code CXTA Turbo) takes 7.6 quarts (with filter) of 0W-20 synthetic oil. A new oil filter and a crush washer are required.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo is only possible with full all-wheel drive. The Porsche Traction Management system controls a multi-plate clutch, an imitation of interwheel differential lock, and an anti-slip system. Sensors installed throughout the vehicle monitor wheel speed, longitudinal and lateral acceleration, and steering angle. It determines the possibility of a wheel slipping into slipping even before this can happen and redistributes the thrust to the other three in advance.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo has a multi-mode suspension. But even on standard settings, it is tough. This is especially noticeable to passengers in the back row. When the chassis is shifted to Sport Plus mode, it becomes even firmer, and the rear wing, which creates downforce, moves out of the fifth door. Small rolls occur in corners, despite the fact that the stabilizers have been reinforced.

    Hi Dan,

Can you tell me what the amount of oil that should be added when the Panamera dash shows ‘minimum oil level’? (2013 model)
