Dodge only produces three vehicles at this point, one of them being the large, powerful Challenger two-door. It’s one of the more attractive automobiles on sale, especially with the huge tires and fender extensions that come as part of the Challenger Widebody package. Dodge first introduced the Challenger in 2008 and gave it a major redesign for 2015; 2022 modifications will be limited to a new alarm system. The Challenger competes against other American performance coupes including the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as foreign rivals like Nissan Z.

Dodge has once again delayed the introduction of any significant changes to the Challenger. This year, they’re even smaller than last year. The R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye, and Super Stock trims now all come standard with an enhanced deluxe security system. The Convenience Group package is now available as an option on the SXT, GT, and R/T models. We’ll look at the SRT8 and Super Stock in depth separately.
