The updated Mitsubishi Lancer appeared before the world community in 2015. In fact, the model is already the second restyling of the tenth generation, which was released in 2007. The change cannot be called global, the technical component has not undergone significant changes, the manufacturer has expanded the list of options and finalized the design. It will not be difficult to distinguish the new product from its predecessor.

Stylish elongated headlamps with small round reflectors catch the eye. The Jet Fighter’s signature grille is now dissected by a massive horizontally oriented trim, under which is the bumper reinforcement.

The grille itself flaunts the manufacturer’s logo and consists of many small elongated hexagonal cells. On the sides of it you can see special niches with plastic inserts. From now on, there are round blocks of fog lights and LED strings of LED daytime running lights.

In general, despite the respectful age of the model, the latest restyling improved the already successful design, but at the same time retained the family traits and charm of the car.

Mitsubishi Lancer is equipped with two engines, a CVT or variable manual transmission, as well as front or all-wheel drive. Thanks to a wide range of units, the car becomes quite versatile and is able to satisfy most of the needs of a potential buyer.

  • The basic configurations of the Mitsubishi Lancer are equipped with an inline atmospheric petrol four with a volume of 1998 cubic centimeters. Thanks to a modern fuel injection system and two camshafts, it develops 148 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 197 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. Despite the good performance, the engine is relatively economical. Fuel consumption Mitsubishi Lancer will be 9.8 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers at a city pace with frequent acceleration and braking, 6.9 liters during a quiet trip on a country road and 8.4 liters of fuel per hundred in the combined cycle.

Thanks to the increased displacement, the engineers managed to squeeze out 168 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 226 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. Despite the increased power, the economy has not suffered much. The fuel consumption of the Mitsubishi Lancer will be 10.7 liters of gasoline per hundred at the city pace, 7.6 liters on the highway and 9.4 liters in the combined driving cycle.
