A high hood with a rounded edge, smooth shapes without sharp corners and edges – everything in the new Ford Mustang is subject to modern pedestrian protection requirements, including European ones.

You will love him with all your soul, he, of course, willfully reciprocate, but he is unlikely to be the only one. This is true of any Ford Mustang, provided that you do not live in California, and unconditionally for the five-liter version. The V8 Mustang is powerful and aggressive, requires constant attention, reacts vividly to your actions and even, it seems thoughts, but living in the ring is exhausting.

In the sixth generation car, the American legend is still easily and unmistakably read. The silhouette, proportions, and even three LED bulbs in the head optics, similar to the stampings on the face of the first Mustang of 1965, refer to the classic predecessor.

The sporty appearance is reflected in the interior as well. A three-spoke steering wheel, a narrow torpedo, round speedometer and tachometer displays, a compact center console, side-bolstered seats – all this allows you to feel confident and comfortable at high speeds. The upholstery of the seats and the interior of the Ford Mustang is made of fabric and leatherette only. A high central floor tunnel extends along with the salon as a continuation of the console, dividing the space inside into right and left parts.

In early 2017, the legendary muscle car Ford Mustang underwent a slight restyling. The model received new optics, which changed the outline on the outside – at the front fenders. Other LED sections are shown inside the headlights. New LEDs lit up on the Mustang’s stern as well.

Inside the Ford Mustang, a modern digital panel with a 12-inch LCD display has “grown”, where the readings of the speedometer, tachometer and other instruments are displayed. True, it will be available only as an option.

The chassis of the Ford Mustang has been improved with new shock absorbers and anti-roll bars. The list of options is supplemented by sensors for reading road markings and a function that warns of the danger of frontal impacts. Well, as a “toy”, the developers proposed a device that regulates the exhaust volume of the top 5.0 V8 engine.

The unit itself increased the compression ratio from 11: 1 to 12: 1 and now works with a new ten-speed automatic transmission, which replaced the six-speed analogue. The new machine is installed in tandem with both the 5.0 V8 and the base 2.3 EcoBoost engine. The manual transmission was preserved but received a new clutch.
