Without a spark, your car will not start – or travel anyplace. And because spark plug health is linked to engine performance, it follows that poor or bad spark plugs would cause difficulties, whether it be problems with cold starting or misfires during acceleration. Furthermore – without good ones – your trip can’t keep its maximum power and your automobile’s fuel efficiency may go down. Nobody wants that, right?
Fortunately, spark plugs are quite durable and don’t need to be replaced very frequently, which means they can survive many years and kilometers.
Most automobile manufacturers recommend changing spark plugs every 30,000 miles; however, they vary in terms of life expectancy. Copper spark plugs have the shortest lifespan, while those constructed of more advanced and durable materials can live up to four times as long as copper spark plugs.
