BMW 3 Series – a medium-sized car with rear and all-wheel drive, the history of which begins at May 1975. This series was released as a replacement for the BMW 02 series and today cars are produced in six generations.

BMW 3 Series – the most popular series in the entire range of the company. Total annual sales of the BMW brand (except for motorcycles) account for about 30% only for this series. The third series has won numerous awards throughout its history.

2018 update

The G20 version is scheduled for introduction in 2018, based on a BMW CLAR platform (cluster architecture) introduced on the 2016 BMW 7 Series. Engine range starts with 1.5-litre three-cylinder. A 90kWh battery-electric 3 series could come around 2020.
